Portal Still Alive in Choir
![]()
What’s made of more win than the Valve game Portal’s ending credit song “Still Alive”? When it was released on Rock Band I was very pleased indeed, but this trumps even that! In this video, the Gifford Children’s Choir performs the song. The link on the youtube site promises to try and record a better video because it is recorded in the dark after all. What you’re seeing is the kids choir dressed up with lights trying to look computer-like. The one in the center is a little girl who acts as the main voice for the song. She’s like the central computer or something. At first I thought she was supposed to be the cake :S
Then the show finishes off, the lights come on and all is revealed. The girl is given flowers, although I thought it would’ve been much better if a cake which was identical to the cake from Portal made a cameo. Then this video would be off the scales. If this is what kids choir is like, my kids will so be going into choir. I only breed geek babehs! >=D!!
Enjoy the vid for all it is (which is most impressively the singing of this song rather than what you’re seeing cause really you’re not seeing much… at all…)

Additional: If you’re a Portal fan, you’ll also find this pretty bad ass. This girl’s fiance made her the Portal Gun so she could dress as Chell (the main and only playable character). Click here to see her flicker album for more pics. Please also note that the gun is so well made that it can actually change between the blue and orange light of alternate portals. So hawt… She’s caught herself quite a handy man!

Aww! Makes me wish I was a kid -_-;
And those amazing parents out there do a great job in raising little gamers <3
Goes to show that kids love their video games
